HOHOHO
Santa Da has delivered my Christmas present
It’s a classy white iPhone!
I’m a newbie for Apple products
and was pretty amused with some of the features
like chat-style sms, finger drag zooming, compass, spotlight search etc
My home page look rather empty
I’ve move out most of the application which require GPRS connection
I think I need my bro help to load some games keke
One thing I don’t like about this phone, it’s too big for my hand grip
To compare, I still prefer my pretty F480 which is just nice for my needs
Anyway apart from what I dislike
I felt PAMPERED! Thanks Da!

2009 is kinda lucky year for me.
Thanx to Pink, yesterday i got another free ticket for a mystery event,
“A Slow Boat from China”
It was held at Indoor Stadium Function Room.
The venue was setup as a boat.
Before proceeding to the ”Dinning Room” where the scene took place,
the Characters move around introducing themselve.
It’s a cold start…we were totally clueless and lost!
We have to trace relationships between the characters,
also to interrogate them for clue.
Eventually, I was enthusiastic when Pink managed to picture some of the puzzles.
Pink is good; She has spotted most of the suspicious and important clue.
Thou’ in the end we did not manage to get all the answers right,
overall I still find the event was AWESOME!!!

The Plot
Shanghai 1929 is famous for its smoky jazz venues, the playground of gangsters and swaggering colonial adventurers. Embark on a voyage of romance, mystery and adventure aboard the steamship Pearl of the Orient and meet your travelling companions – and what a motley crew they are.
Captain and owner of the Pearl, Horatio Briggs, have two loves in his life: his daughter, Amy, and his ship. In order to fulfill his wife’s dying wish that their daughter, Amy, make something of herself as a singer, Briggs must reluctantly sell the boat, condemning him to a life ashore. Moreover, the only person willing and able to buy the Pearl is ruthless business man, Grant Sterling. He is accompanied by his long-suffering wife, Kathleen, a woman with a very warm heart, who might, if only things were otherwise, be a source of consolation to the Captain.
Also aboard is Roger Prickard, fallen on hard times, and reliant on his companion Constance Wittering, but relations between this odd couple seem strained. Also aboard is anthropologist, Augustus Peabody, en route to the Thousand Islands to study the native ways up close and personal – by going native himself. As the evening unwinds it becomes clear that he is nursing some kind of secret or anxiety, as well as a passion for Amy.
Be a sleuth, follow the clues, question the suspects and solve the mystery – or just relax, wine, dine and enjoy the fun! Tickets include finger food, a welcome drink, clue packs and show!

…it’s NI’S BIRTHDAY
juz a casual cut cake at home after work.
The cake look great, but taste disappointing…I miss the “717 Durian” Blackforest Cake
Having hard time blowing out the candles
Omg you’ve to dip them into the water to put out the fire!!
Don’t care la, without the candle I still make my wish
HAHAHA

Chingus have also celebrated my birthday!
I’m blessed to have them, they’re jovious people to brighten the day.
This year they’re treating me at Waraku East Coast
Yup Waraku again, I’m now raving over Waraku.
Passby this restaurant countless time, but never tried this restaurant before, so this is my 1st visit yo.
The furnishing is quite old, and air-con not working fine.
Luckily, the dishes that they picked are nice
Tried a tiny bit of salmon belly too, taste not bad actually but the feeling is still a bit eek.
To compare the restaurant, I still prefer Central branch
I’ve applied for the VIP member card, will received a S$100 dining voucher when the card is ready, great deal right?

Woohoo!!! I’m going to watch the NDP full dress rehearsal this Saturday!
Thou’ it’s juz a NDP NE show, i’m still excited…hope it don’t rain that day
*****
All these years we did not manage to get the ticket, so we had picnic outside the stadium; or dine nearby Marina Bay to watch the spectacular fireworks and the Air Show
The most memorable one was few years back where we illegally parked our vehicle at a vacant space…that’s the most beautiful view that I had ever seen…the fireworks appeared like a big screen infront of me and I could feel the vibration when it lit brightly in the dark sky…sadly the area was closed for IR construction the following year
*****
My 1st involvement in NDP was in 1988…together with my friend we had participated the flashcard display, which proudly made its debut in the 1988 parade.
(I’m still keeping my Cert…keke)
